I’d never sewn my life, but decided to upcycle my coat for my dog and it came out lovely!
I’m so surprised and now want to start this as a new hobby creating my own clothes and who knows a doggy jacket business!

💜 Fun with friends

I was going to have friends over on a rainy afternoon to make brownies and play board games and since I don't have a TV thought it would be nice to use a projector to watch some Netflix and cat videos.
The brownies didn't really go as planned, but hey I got to laugh at the contestants on Love Island UK and also blow up Taylor swift on my wall.

🎸 Make some space

I don’t own an SDS drill, as I rarely have the need to use one. I wanted to mount my guitar and bike on an exterior wall in my rented flat. It worked a treat!

I dropped a tikka masala on my carpeted stairs and assumed that life was over - my girlfriend told me about the amazing Library of Things and my stairs are no longer red!
Genuinely a brilliant scheme and I’ll be using it for any more curry related incidents (and normal activities too).

🧪 Have fun experimenting

We made an absurd amount of ice cream (we ended up extending the rental by other week!) with lots of flavours we couldn't buy.
The first "collection" was tea themed: maple hojicha, earl grey with biscuits, thai tea, and matcha sesame.
I also designed custom labels for each flavour tub, just for fun. I absolutely loved the experience!

💜 Transform date night

We borrowed Marty the Projector for an early Valentine’s weekend treat to play video games on a big screen! Super fun and a great way to transform an ‘at home’ date night.

I’ve never used a Sewing Machine before but wanted to make a puppet as a summer project.
I didn’t want to buy one because I have no experience and it’s an investment, so renting one was perfect!

I made a jumper for my cat. I've wanted to use a Sewing Machine for years, but didn't want to commit to spending a couple hundred quid on one.

My family enjoyed playing with the Games Console.
The different Things available are a great incentive for my child to get good study grades so that we can hire fun things we wouldn't normally have. It's brilliant!
